ANTIVAHO CINEMATOGRÁFICO

Antivaho Cinematográfico is an independent production company created by the director and producer Èrika Sánchez and the editor and director Xavier Esteban. They are both the core team of the company.

Talent, authenticity, experience and commitment to projects that have the ability to connect with the feeling of the present moment.

Our most outstanding productions are Panteres (Panthers), a short film directed by Èrika Sánchez, premiered at the Berlinale 2020 and screened at more than 80 Festivals around the world, as well as received multiple awards. Panthers is the prelude to the feature film in development The Quiet Women; and Perifèria, a documentary feature film directed by Xavier Esteban and Odei A.-Etxearte, premiered at Seminci and Dok.fest München in 2020 and screened in several international film festivals such as Rotterdam Arquitecture Film Festival, Budapest Arquitecture Film Days Festival and Lisbon Arquitecture and Film Festival.

Currently, We have finalized the experimental musical short film ‘Resonance (of a Silent Music)’ that will be released in 2023. It has been financed by the Spanish Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts  (ICAA) and the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC) as well as other public and private entities.

And we are working on the production of the feature film Dietari Final (Final Diary), co-directed by Erika Sánchez and Ariadna Pujol. The film is an initiative of the Masters Degree in Creative Documentary from Barcelona’s Pompeu Fabra University and has guaranteed financing of the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC), an organism of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Catalonia.
